Notes from the HOA Board… Please review

HOA BOD has notice a few lots that have business signs posted. Pursuant to our Community Bylaws Section 8.02 Prohibited uses & Nuisances "Except for entrance sign, directional; signs, signs for traffic control or safety and such promotional sign or signs as may be maintained by the declarant or Association, no signs or advertising devices of any character shall be erected, posted or displayed upon in or about any lot or dwelling provided, however that one temporary real estate sign. Please adhere to the rules in order to keep our neighborhood clean and uniform. Thank you.

A Gentle Reminder....Posted Speed Limit is 25mph. Please be considerate of your neighbors especially on Trotters Glen Drive!


  • PARKED CARS

    Cars and other vehicles are not to be parked on your lawn at any time and not for over 72 hours on the sides of the street. At no point are commercial vehicles allowed to park on our streets or driveways, unless making a delivery. Unsafe situations are created when cars not belonging to homeowners or their guests are parked in front of homes.

  • UNREGISTERED MOTORIZED VEHICLES

    All unregistered motorized vehicles such as golf carts, ATVs, scooters, go-carts, etc. are not allowed on community streets or county roads. Please refrain from using them at any time. It is a county law!

  • EXTERIOR ALTERATIONS TO PROPERTY

    Anyone wishing to make any exterior alterations to their property must obtain approval from the CCCA BOD prior to taking action. Due to the covenants, we must maintain the architectural design of the community at all times.

    A form for requesting Exterior Alterations can be obtained on the CCCA Documentation page of this website..The completed form can be submitted to the CCCA BOD at carriagecrossingmd@gmail.com.

  • NOISE LEVELS

    All of us enjoy celebrations, but we must respect the rights and privileges of our neighbors. According to Charles County Ordinance, loud noise levels must not occur after 10:00 pm. All of us must adhere to the policy.

  • TRASH REMOVAL

    Amber’s Disposal, LLC continues to provide waste removal services for the community. The association reminds neighbors that Ambers conducts weekly pickups on TUESDAYS, unless there is a holiday. In addition to your blue Amber’s toter, Amber’s will empty trash from any additional, unmarked cans as part of normal pickup. However, they will not collect loose bags, so be sure that all trash is placed in a can before placing it by the street. Generally, Amber’s visits our community as early as 6:00 am in the morning, so be sure to place your cans street-side the night before pickup.

    Amber’s also operates a bulk pickup for the community. Amber’s collects bulk items (i.e. items that will not fit in your trash can) on the first Friday of each month. To arrange for bulk pickup, contact Amber directly at (301) 888-9649. Your dues pay for these services, so please make use of them!

    The association would like to remind everyone that trash and recycling cans must be removed from the street within 48 hours after pickup. Please do your part to keep our community looking beautiful.

  • HOME RESALE PACKAGE INFO

    If you are planning to sell your home, please remember to inform the Board of Directors (BOD). The BOD sends out a resale package to every listing company/agent with pertinent paperwork and points of contact for settlement purposes. A resale package can be obtained by emailing carriagecrossingmd@gmail.com.
