2024 National Night Out

National Night Out 2024 in Carriage Crossing Community was a success!

We hope that those who came out last night enjoyed meeting members of the Charles County Sheriff Department, Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department, Maryland State Troopers and our very own Trooper Howard, and Maryland State Attorney Anthony Brown. Thank you for your service to our community!

Thank you to our neighbors The Umphries and the hospitality team for the donation of the delicious brisket, cheeseburger, and hotdog sandwiches, and face painting.

The Charles County Sheriff Department is conducting a coloring contest for children ages 4-12 years old. Those who received a coloring sheet last night please turn into our President, Gwen and she will take them to the Sheriff Department by August 13th. Otherwise, they can be turned into District Station, Waldorf, LaPlata or at the CCSO Annex 10435 Audie Lane La Plata, MD. All pages must be submitted by August 22nd for judging.  All winners will be notified by mail. An awards party for all participants will be held in October.

Raffles were pulled on Facebook Live, and the winners came forward to pick up their gifts. All numbers have been claimed and as follows:
