Continued discussions regarding the replacement attorney. Further interviews will be held and a decision will be made on a later date.
Maryland Reserve Fund. This will cost $2,800.00. Miller-Dodson Co. will be in the community to complete report and provide to the Board.
The discussion regarding the tennis courts continued. Do we have the funding for the needed repair? Should there be funding set aside each year for this type of needed repairs? There isn’t the money currently available and action is in process to collect past dues to help pay. The reserve fund and report will hopefully assist.
Website: 27 houses have currently registered. John Reinhardt is assisting with the website. Thank you John. The site is Carriagecrossingmd.com. The email address for the community is carriagecrossingmd@gmail.com.
The Spring Fling is set for April 15th. We are looking for donations to raffle off during the event. Lauren Posey and Amanda Howard are working diligently to have a great fling. A suggestion of a yard sale was brought up and it was decided to do this at a later time.
Gail Johnson has asked if there can be Home schooling collaboration within the community. Please email the community email at carriagecrossingmd@gmail.com if interested.
Gwen asked if the community would like volunteer guest speakers at HOA meetings. The majority of members attending said yes.
Facebook Page: Dan stated that an administrator must now approve all posts. Non residents are being deleted from the site.
We will try to arrange a food truck come to the community on a regular basis. Whether it be weekly, monthly or some other time frame. The Board will look into this and try to make it happen.
The community bulletin board is being repaired.
Gwen informed all that the Board is making all efforts to be completely transparent. All minutes and all information will be posted on Facebook and the website.
The next meeting will be April 20, 2023, at the Charlotte Hall Library. We will also hold it virtually for those unable to attend in person.
